While the Harvest Moon Festival has always been an exceptional time for celebration and light, designed to drive creatures of darkness back into their lairs as the winter approaches, this year's festival is particularly necessary in that regard. The night of the festival's peak falls on the eve of a new moon, and as sinister forces continue to plague the lands, this kind of darkness, if not quelled, will serve as an all-too-tempting invitation for them to wreak havoc across Stoica.
